Since we just bought a house, we have so many fun house projects to do! We won’t be doing many major renovation projects (at least not anytime soon), but we will be doing a lot of painting, decorating, etc.
My goal is to post about every room in our house as we finish it, so you will be seeing more posts like this! I am excited for the day that I will get to post about our wine room. That project is further down the line, but something I am already planning out in the back of my mind.
First up in the home tour, we have our guest room! This was a top priority to get finished, as we knew our families would be coming to visit us. I had a lot of fun putting this room together and giving it a specific style. I guess you could call it a Texas/Country/Western theme?
Also, almost EVERYTHING in this room was either from Home Goods, Amazon or a random rustic store on the side of the road in Texas. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to have a nice looking room. I am all about finding those deals 🙂
I will link everything at the bottom of the post and throughout if you want to re-create the look yourself!(Note: Since a lot was from Home Goods, it was tough to find the exact item I bought, so I tried to find some similar items for you – look at the VERY bottom for that)

“Headboard” – RND Rustics – Unfortunately, I don’t see it online. However, I found a very similar one in a different color on Etsy.
I didn’t do a traditional headboard and wanted to do something more unique. I really liked the way this turned out. I used Pinterest for my inspiration. I wanted to find a rustic looking window of sorts. If you want something similar, I would try looking for primitive windows. Another idea is to find an old rustic door!
