Ingredients

  • 2 lbs 80% lean ground beef
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 4 oz blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • dijon mustard (for garnish)
  • sliced white onion (for garnish)
  • pickles (for garnish)
  • 6 hamburger buns

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mix the ground beef, egg, egg whites, worcestershire sauce and Lipton Onion Soup Mix packet. It works best to use your hands.
  2. Form 6 burger patties of equal size.
  3. Grill the burgers to your desired temperature. It really depends on your grill, but I'd recommend about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Let the burgers rest for a couple minutes before piecing together the hamburger.
  5. After the burger patties have rested, you can assemble your Blue Cheese Burger. Place on the burger patty on the bun and spread a good amount of dijon mustard on top. Top with a tomato slice, onion slices and pickles. Finally, top with a generous amount of blue cheese crumbles.
  6. Put the top of the bun on the burger and enjoy!
